Who we are
Village Community Development (VCD) is a beacon of hope in Sierra Leone, dedicated to uplifting the lives of the most vulnerable. As a non-governmental organization, we believe that hope is the seed of progress, and through it, we initiate community-based projects designed to enhance the livelihoods of people who need it most.
Our approach is grassroots, ensuring that every project, from agriculture and education to vocational training and sponsorships, resonates with the needs of the people we serve. We nurture the land through sustainable farming projects, enrich minds with the power of education through our schools, empower individuals with skills through professional training, and support dreams through sponsorships.
At VCD, we are more than an organization; we are a family bound by the common goal of creating a sustainable and prosperous future for all. Together, we are cultivating a garden of opportunity and watching as it blossoms into a community of strength, resilience, and enduring hope.
